How Our Network Works
Who you will talk to
When you reach out, you are connected with a representative of an independent roofing business in the network. It is not a Expectedplus Roofing crew, because Expectedplus Roofing does not do roof work. The provider is a separate company that serves your part of the Mentor area.
Hours vary from one provider to the next. Request a callback to check provider availability.
What happens on the call
It is a simple conversation. Expect questions like these:
- What happened, and when did you notice it?
- Is water coming in right now?
- How old is the roof, and what is it made of?
- What is the address, so the provider knows if they serve your area?
If water is coming in, say so first. Many providers can respond quickly to emergency roof repair needs like a temporary cover, but timing depends on the provider and the weather. Ask what is realistic.
What to ask a provider
Write your questions down before you talk. These are good ones:
- Are you licensed and insured where I live?
- Will you give me a written quote that lists materials and steps?
- How do you handle storm damage repair and documenting damage for a claim?
- Who will be on my roof, and how long should the job take?
- What happens if you find rotten decking once the old roof is off?
- What warranty comes with the work, and who stands behind it?
Costs vary a lot by roof size, pitch, and material. Typical U.S. full replacements often run from several thousand dollars to well over ten thousand. Get a written quote so you can compare.
You are in control
Talking to a provider is not a promise to hire them. You can say no. You can ask for a second quote from other local roofing contractors. You can take a day to think. A calm choice usually beats a rushed one.
